New Year Full Moon Women's Circle and Celebration with Uma Knight Tue, 2 Jan 2018 at 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Traditionally under the light of the full moon it is the time to honour all that we have been through, all that we are and all that we shall become.

This gathering will focus on coming together at this poignant time of year, to reflect, pause and lay some deep intentions for the next cycle ahead.

We will cultivate joy, gratitude and celebrate all that we have, together. Expect sacred movement, a sense of community and celebratory practices, including a Cacao ceremony.

In circle we create a sacred space to tap into the innate wisdom that lives inside, to remember who we truly are, to acknowledge and honour whatever is going on in our lives and to practice embodying and living our heart's deepest longings. These events are always heart warming and supportive, and a great way to connect with more women in your life.

We align with the rhythms of the moon to remember our wild feminine nature.

We come together to inspire & heal ourselves, each other & the collective.

May this be the most awakening, powerful and beautiful year yet!

Gong Bath with Charlie Merton Fri, 12 Jan 2018 at 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Charlie will lead you through a sonic healing soundscape which will include 4 gongs, tibetan bowls, rainstick, & sansula. The use of gongs and tibetan bowls stimulates the alpha and theta brainwaves which are associated with meditative states. The healing power of the session is enhanced with the use of 3 planetary gongs (Jupiter, Venus, Sidonic Moon) in addition to a large symphonic gong.
The experience will open the body and mind, and help to release energetic blocks and tension which accumulate through the everyday trauma of our lives.

Feeling tones are heard not just by the ears but felt kinaesthetically by the entire body as a collective ear - really it’s like receiving a sound massage. The gong bath experience is like being wrapped in a powerful cocoon of pure holistic resonance, the powerful and wholesome tones enable the listener to disappear completely in the sound field resulting in a profound sense of well being and inner peace. People emerge feeling extremely relaxed, re- energised and refreshed.

Craniosacral Therapy for mums, babies and kids with Liz Kalinowska Mon, 15 Jan 2018 at 10:45 am - 11:30 am

Craniosacral Therapy is an ideal therapy for babies and children because it is so gentle. The touch is very light, and although it can hardly be felt, is nonetheless surprisingly effective. Many young babies have digestive and feeding problems, difficulties with getting into regular sleeping patterns and periods of unexplained crying. These issues may often be caused by unresolved discomfort arising from the birth process. Craniosacral therapy helps your baby to relax and let go of any remaining tension that is contributing to their symptoms. Children benefit in much the same way as babies from this subtle therapy, but Craniosacral Therapy can also help with some of the behavioural problems that arise if digestion, sleeping and other worries have still not settled down. Events in a child's life which cause stress, such as falls and other traumas can be eased by a CST session which aims to boost the bodies self-healing mechanisms. Pregnant mothers need time to relax and look after themselves, and CST is very effective for all sorts of minor pregnancy niggles. Postural and hormonal changes in the body can lead to backache and other symptoms which are melted away by this extremely soothing therapy.

Every Body Tells a Story with Liz Kalinowska Thu, 25 Jan 2018 at 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Liz Kalinowska introduces you to Craniosacral Therapy

In 2016 Liz Kalinowska and Daska Hatton published their book 'Every Body Tells a Story' which describes one woman's journey through a course of Craniosacral treatment. Based on her 25 years of experience in practice, Liz will discuss in her talk the inspiration behind the book, and explain how Craniosacral Therapy encourages a better understanding and a stronger relationship to our own unique body story. From a new and more enlightened perspective we can begin with our therapist to heal the catalogue of stresses, physical injuries and emotional damage we may have sustained over a lifetime. Craniosacral Therapy is suitable for all ages and most conditions. It is gentle hands on therapy which is safe and effective even for the very young. Liz works at Bhuti on Mondays from 11-5pm.
